i guess this game is for newbies of SG (like Me) i've looked through trying to find a game to play and found plenty of games that all all nice and pretty, but not many of these game are just normal civ, they all have some story behind them and meaning or need addons.
So this is what i decided to do. create a normal game.

-No addons
-no story (other than seeing a world come alive and having many diffrent rulers of a nation

another reason for this is that people can just pop along a see a few similiar nations names and can understand where we are, so that if someone decides to advicate then the new person can just hop right back in the driving seat.

BRITISH CONSTITUTION-as found in any good book retailer

1.No prime minister shall declare war or alliy unless they have the support of parliament

1a. there needs to be a clear majority of over 1 to declare war. so even 2-2 means no war.

1b. no signing agrements with other nations to both go to war.

1c. punishment for failure to listening to this will result in a turn ban minimun.

2.construction of a city improvement is up to the prime minister of the time-unless vetoed by parliament more than half agree that we should not build particular improvement.

2a. standard building priority will be set by parliament- i.e Airport just invented parliament agrees all cities should build that,

2b. if parliament do not decide on something to build then prime minister has free range on what to build.

2c. if parliamnet decide to build war machines prime minsiter has the ability to choose where, unless specified by parliament. ie on another continent then parliament says build over there.

2b. prime minister has power to over rule 2a,2b,2c in the event of war breaks.

3. technology will be decided by parliament.

3a. the technology that parliamnet decides to head for will be researched as soon as it is possible within a resonible amount of time.

4. wonders will be set by parliament and given to the prime minister to decid on where building should take place. along with when we should build it.

5. prime minister has full ability to decide what to trade, parliament has no rule here.

6. long term and short term goals will be set out by parliamnet following these rules.

7. standard time in office for PM---10 turns

8. this constitution can only be changed if agreed by the parliamnet.

I'm looking for my first SG, and I'm Monarch/Emperor. I always play normal games, without mod or anything.

What version do you have? If you have Vanilla, I'm in!

i got conquest i not sure what version it is because im to lazy to check but its the origional, no funky munky stuff on it.

i also had the idea of people voting for their next leader, if your new you get to have a free go so people see if you any good so that our nation could head in the right way but, that seems to be a little bit of a pipe dream since it would take to much time, and not every one would get a a second term in office.

Wait, does this mean unpatched (patches mainly fix bugs, not mod the game.)

I'd suggest figuring out game settings first, too.

well now i know there is a patch to be had i will get it. im not fussed using the orig or using conquest, it depends on how many people are intrested and what type of game they have.

(p.S do i need to just go to the civ 3 HP to download patch?)

Yes. Patch 1.22 for Civ3: Conquest is what you need. And, you should really get it; the unpatched version has several problematic bugs.

Then, most ppl today have C3C, so this is kind of 'default'.

And, to attract participants, decide the settings, especially the Civ and map settings, and post a start. (Difficulty level doesn't matter, this can be changed later).

i have set up all the peramitars for the game all i need now is for people to wana come and put there name down on the list of people to become president.
(i just also had another idea) after the game here on this finishes,(if it starts that is) we can then moce over to SMAC if any one has it if not then they will have to left behind when the colony ship heads over to alpha centuri.

Signing in, Monarch or Emperor sounds fine to me. England sucked last time I checked, but that was in Vanilla . Conquest 1.22 please, the bugs in older versions are a nightmare

just a note, since there are now people willing to play the game, i will simply start and post the save game here, then we go through ranks untill someone joins,

Not much happened during these turns, its a shame that i have the first go since now i have to wait, all i did was found london and create a warrior.
London seems to be in a nice coastal spot. (could turn out to be a big lake)

Hmm...I'd like to join if there's still room. It will be my first SG, so a normal game with normal rules is probably a good idea.

I'm a Monarch/Emperor player (with Conquests 1.22), but have never played as England, so it won't be too easy, or too hard.

ok so whoever wants to take the save game go ahead just let me so i can put you in the correct order for who takes the save game, but i been sat here watching people come and disapear, so if you want it take it and let me so i can throw your name on the roster.

well i would like to post a screen shot however i seem to lack the abilty of posting it on the screen so you can simply see it straight away.

Hmm...I downloaded the save, but I keep getting an error...DataIO Operation system error? I have no idea what that means...does it work for anyone else? maybe it's just my computer.

I have to leave now, though. If you fix it before I get back tomorrow, someone else can play.

i dont know why it doing that, i might have put on the save game with the one before i patched my game. i will have a looksy and place the save from my patched game,

now i know it was because i had'nt patched my game at that point, it works fine now however. the save is on the next page.

putting an unpatched save would do that
place a current updated save
about postng pix - i find it easiest to upload a single pic per message. that way it will automatically be displayed at bottom of message.
