, and not once has it been necessary to cheat or direct connect. Diplomacy with the other player's AI ambassador has been more than sufficient.
They're part of the game and I've never considered them cheating. I haven't even considered them taking advantage of a game mistake, because they serve a purpose.

But...I think there is a small problem with F3 diplomacy that you have to keep your attitudes worsphipful (and to reset them every turn).Originally posted by SlowThinker

don't be afraid of the title "cheat". Cheat mode was introduced not for cheating, but for scenario designers. Functions that allows scenario creating were divided into two menus - and they were named "Cheat" and "Scenario".
