New great idea Post world war two scenario

We are July 15th and Hitler is gone. The british launched Operation Foxley on July 13th which succed by killing Hitler but the agents was captured and killed by Hitler's personnal guards.

The Nazi empire is in chaos and the race to the leadership of the German empire is beginning. A lot of leaders are in the race like Himmler, Goering, Rommel,Goebbels and more...But the only who really win the power is the follower of Hitler: Doenitz. Now the World War 2 is not over yet and he has some good opportunities left. Two choice is in front of him: Continue the resistance against the allies or sign treaty of peace with the Bristish and the Americans to contine the war against the Soviets. This is the big decision which will rewrite the story of our world. With Germany as an ally, the allies has a huge advantage that Stalin doesn't have. This would be a huge obstacle for Stalin's desire over the Europe. He would probably declare war to the Allies and this would be the beginning of the new Cold War.

But, the Germany can escape from a humiliating defeat against the allies and they can still defend a huge territory. Whitout Hitler, Rommel's plan of retreating from France to the Seine line would have save more than 250,000 men. Doenitz would stop the project of producing Jet bomber for the german Me262 aircraft for the defense. The Lufftwaffe would be still in the war but surely not enough to be bigger than the allies Air Force. Mainstein plan's of the order of the retreat of his men from the East Front to Roumania and border of East Prussia would have save a lot of is men. This would have make better defensive lines against their ennemis. If this would have happen, I don't know if with such a great defense for the central Europe the Allies would have won the war.

The nations will be: Soviet Union, Germany, United States, British, Spain, Neutrals and finally Western Europe Confederation(American's and British's allies like France, Italy and more)

I've got some ideas and I want your feeling about some questions:

1. Do you like more a scenario with a Germany that is still resist to allied's invasion or a Germany down working with the allies for fighting the soviets?

2.Which of these men you think are the best to control Germany after Hitler's Death(Doenitz, Himmler, Goebbels, Rommel, or Goering or other choices)?

As information the scenario will take on the Western world(America and Europe). It will involve the Russians, the Germans, the Americans, EFC(Europe Free Countries), British Commonwealth, Independant Nations, AIC( Amerian influenced countries),Arab nations. It will take on in 1944 around the fall or the winter.

These days, I though about my scenario and now I have my story and its like this:

1944: Operation Foxely, Hilter took a bullet in his head shot by a british sniper. Doenitz take control of the regime and made a lot of changes the following months after. The Final solution is no more and the SS division is broke up for the DSS(Deutsche spezielle Streitkräfte(Deutsh special armed forces)). The german retreat from France to the Seinne Line and in the Eastern front they retreat to the border of East Prussia and Roumania.Their heavy defensive lines and the "Dead Fuhrer" propaganda campaign let the german alive in the war for a couple of years.

1945: The allies is still figthing the germans in Europe but the war against the Japanese is over after the atomic bomnb attack of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. To finish the war in Europe, the americain begin "The Final Operation" in Europe for ending the war by throwing an atomic bomb on Dresden but something happened before they can do it: the germany tested their new weapon(The V3 Middle-range atomic missile) on Kiev which forced the Soviets to stop their invasion and sign a cess-fire treaty. The allies decide to sign a treaty too because an atomic war was too dangerous.

Until 1949, the World was at peace for a moment but not FOREVER. Stalin wanted his revenge against the German and he got it when the Soviets tested their new nuclear weapon:the Реактивный снаряд Stalin's разрушительный(Stalin's destructive missile)and they throw it on Budapest wich has been completely destroyed after the attack. The following day the Germany declare war to the Soviet Union. At this time, Germany was controlling the territories at the border of France to the border of Poland and Roumania. At the est of German's territory, the Soviets control all the territories.

The american don't want to get involve in the war but won't let the two countries destroy the world with their nuclear weapons so if the player or the computer use too many nuclear weapons, the americans will go at war aginst them. The scenario will take in Europe and America and will involve these nations: the Soviets, the Germans, the Americans, the WEDU(East Europe Democratic Union wich is France, Britain, and more...), the America Democratic Nation(Canada, Mexico and more....), the Arab Nations and Independant Nations.

Im working right now on my Map so yes im not just thinking of it im working on it and for the moment my scenario will be call: The Tree Titans

Sounds oddly familiar to my scenario, Soviet Steel!

Excuse me Curt but this was not my intention. I hope that the new story of my scenario don't look familiar to your Soviet Steel or I hope that you won't hate me but i'm doing my best to make this scenario a really unique one. Can I ask you first where is your post to get a view of your scenario which i'm sure will be great like your DictatorII TOT and MGE. Max, I think that you may want to work on your story a little bit: it strikes this WW2 geek as being somewhat implausabile.

...Assuming that they could somehow disengage from the much more mobile and heavily armed Allied force in Normandy. Even if the Germans had disengaged, this would have played into the Allies hands - the Germans had no way of standing up to the Allies in the more open country of Northern France.

The Me-262 was a good aircraft. However, by mid 1944 the Germans were totally unable to produce the pilots and fuel needed to operate such an aircraft (or any aircraft for that matter).

The Allies had already won the War by mid-1944. There's absolutely nothing which Germany could have done to avoid defeat. The Allies had total air superiority over Germany, the Allied Armies had more and much better equiped soldiers then Germany, and the Battle of the Atlantic had been fought and decicively won. As for a seperate peace treaty with the Allies: forget it - Britain and the USA were out to finish the job which had been left undone in 1918 by totally crushing Germany.

An underrated part of the Allies 'Germany first' doctrine was that the products of the Manhatten project were originally intended for use on Germany. Had Germany still been in the war in August 1945 then there's no way that the first bombs would have been dropped on Japan.

Had Germany somehow beaten the Allies to the punch by nuking Kiev, Stalin certainly wouldn't have made peace with Germany. By 1944 something like 19 million Soviet citizens had been killed by Germany without Stalin atempting to sue for peace.

(BTW, the Germans did build a 'V3': it was a giant gun intended to shell London. It was knocked out by the famous 617 'Dambuster' Squadron before it was completed [and it probably wouldn't have worked anyway]).

OTOH, you could just ignore my geekish whinging and go ahead and make an excelent scenario using your storyline (if you move the date of Hitler's assasination ahead to 1943 then it becomes a lot more plausible: at this stage Germany still had a [very] slight chance of holding off the Allies).

Hello everybody here some new ideas for my scenario and some majors changes!!!

1. The United States actions: Finally, I decided that the US get involve because this is what I think they would have do!!! This country (whatever you like what I say or not but it's the truth) is the same as the two oders :a DOMINANT country so they want their peice of cake too. But unlike the two other countries, they just want the World Peace by acting with the United Nations but the truth is they d'ont want to loose their nuclear power so they will get involve. At this time, they are THE Major Power of the world but they know that if Soviets and Germany are not easy ennemies because of their nuclear weapons.

2. Hitler's death date: Hitler was killed in 1943 by some German high command who tought that Hitler was not able to control an army agaisnt such power as the Allies. The Nazi gouvernement was throw out for a better gouvernement to defend the German Empire border at this time. They know that no matter what will happen, the Allies and the Soviets want to complete the work they began in 1914. The new gouvernement is a Republic, the Fourth Reich lead by the Chancelor Rommel wich was choose by the leader of the assassination of Hilter. They know that they still have work to do to stop the Allies.

3. The Allies Invasion: By 1944, the Germans have built a big fortress around the border of the Seinne in Europe waiting for the Allies. This defense was stonger than the one that happened in the real life. But the German gouvernment know that the Allies can still destroy the new defensive line so their approach become more friendly with the United States.

4. The First Nuclear Bomb: This new relations did'nt stop the United States from stopping the war and the new Manathan Project. They attempt to throw a nuclear Bomb on Dresden but the German throw their V-3 Missile in Kiev before to show to the Allies their New Power!! In front of the new defensive line, the Non-Nazi gouvernement, the New Republic, the less Aggressive relations and the new Nuclear Weapons, the Population of US didn't want to finish the war in Europe for a lot of human lifes lost and a war just against a new democratic nation. The President saw the invasion of east Europe by the Soviets and knew that Germnay would be a good friend of circunstantce to crush the Soviets.

5. The EastFront: Stalin is angry about the fact that the US stop their advance and the humiliating nuclear attck against Kiev. He know that with their new nuclear power, he can't continue is invasion in the Eastern Border because is not enough powerful. But he know the day when he will get is own nuclear weapons he will be able the fight again.

6. The new Imperial War: The tree forces now are in a Ressource war because they need Oil for fuel, Uranium for Nuclear weapons, plastic for the guns. Now the countries want to conquer the other territories with these ressources so they not only fight in Europe but all around the World.
