New Laptop and Civ

I just got a new laptop and the Warlords expansion pack for civ 4 for christmas (I know bts is out and so is civ 5 but this is what I wanted). I imediatly became faced with the decsion of installing warlords onto my older and much slower desktop or installing civ 4 and then warlords onto my new laptop. The only problem is that I'm afraid that if I do this then I'll just end up slowing my laptop down too. Will putting Civ games on my brand new ASUS laptop slow it down at all.

and that's about all I can tell you about it for right now.

As it does not have a dedicated graphics card, I would expect it to be slow or not really playable.

However, it will not slow your computer down.
