Ability-Champion of Scotland: Gains +5 loyalty for each great General recruited. Can never be destroyed as every five turns after capital falls gets 5-10 units with no maitenance. Max amount increases to 15 after last city falls and you get them every 3 turns. Unlocks Claymore men unique unit.

Agenda-Freedom: likes civs with lots of loyalty. Will try to gain loyalty. Dislikes five with low loyalty.

Despite having Scottish heritage on my whole mother's side of my family, I'm a bit dubious of an effectively unconquerable civ...

I mean you do conquer them. They just keep coming back. It's just like more barbarians if it's AI. For a player it's a chance to live again.

The gameplay design is annoying and OP ultimately. A destroyed player needs to be laid to rest.

Also, I don’t think Scotland really needs a second leader. Civs like Egypt and China are more in need there.

In Civ 5 you couldn't kill Korea. At least in one scenario. I think it would be a good leader for beginner players to play as seeing that they may die to often. This was my first try at a leader. I will take into account not to make the next one unkillable.

I've never played Civ5, so I couldn't say, personally, how that played out from my perspective and I would feel about it in the context of that game's rules. I'm afraid, for me, it was Civ1, 2, 3, and then a big break until 6.

Not being able to kill a civ in a DLC scenario is very different from being able to kill a civ in an expansion.
