New mod patch soon?

I've seen posting saying you've fixed multiple problems and bugs dating back to Feb 1.
When is the new patch for GK coming out?
I'd like to plan my schedule around it.

Yeah, that's the place to follow for updates. The Beta version is just out now - GEM 1.14 and CivUP 2.6. Will give it a go.

I can tell it has been a while since there almost no activity on the boards.

Usually releases are on Friday and it's been 2 Fridays now that there has been no release. Seems unusual for Thal.

Maybe he has some inside information on the next expansion!

Even better would be if Brave New World incorporates promoting the AI from Chieftain happiness to Prince happiness and also includes his code that teaches the AI how to cash buy buildings, especially happiness when needed.

Why does everyone on this board think Thal has some inside access to Civ? He is probably like most everyone else - busy with life (family, friends, work, etc.)

And what impact will the Brave New World expansion have on this project right now?

Having good ideas <> inside access to Firaxis. I have good ideas all day long and it doesn't mean I have been granted I sidet scoop or access.

Let the man handle is business after all this mod isn't paying the bills or making or breaking his life.

I had a lot of fun for a long time playing NiGHTS, which is actually more comprehensive than this one. I only recently abandoned that and installed GEM because NiGHTS has a balance problem that made all games unfold the same way for me, and development seems to have come to a stop.

It's well worth playing, though.
