New pitboss

I'm so sorry I need another pause/unpause. After tonight I will be off my week of 13hr night hell shifts and move back onto normal days so there should be multiple times a day I can play rather than struggling to find ability to play once a day.

Sorry guys, this rota is killing me but it all changes from the beginning of August when I am getting a job plan change to only extended normal hours which will be nice and regular and a lot less intense!

Anyone care to give an update on this game. Who is left and who is currently battling whom or whatever. When I pop in to the thread, as a former Civ (India) all I read is about are pauses and delays.

I used to support pitboss games as quicker, now I am not so sure,

Well, I'll try to shed a bit of light.

I Conquered my 2 nearest neighbors Byzantium and Azteca with cuirs versus axes. REM's England got to redcoats and used the whip and the draft to produce substantional land force and went after Dick's vast, but a bit backward Sumeria. Sinimusta joined in with galleons full of units against Sumeria. It was redcoats/rifles supported by cannons vs cats/knights, so Sumeria was losing ground quick. I decided to not attack any of my nearest powerful neighbors Ot4e or Sinimusta with my early advantage of galleons and bunch of cuirrassiers loaded in to those to not force them 2 to ally against me, but instead I had sent my cuirs half a world apart to eventually try stopping REM's England advance in to Dick's Sumeria. After few heavy and bloody battles England eventually lost steam against Sumeria and stopped it's advancing, but this was at a cost and the cost was that Sinimusta took some easy gains from Sumeria.

Meanwhile Sinimusta and Ot4e was loading whole bunch of galleons with rifles and was preparing to attack me as I was seemingly too far ahead of all the others. I was having an engineer sitting in the city where I was building Kremlin, but I decided not to use it as if I was to take Krem, this was going to be a loud message to all the other nations that I must be attacked and stopped at all costs. Sinimusta took Krem instead and this resulted in Ot4e deciding to call off the attack on me. Left alone, Sinimusta was only able to burn 2-3 not so significant cities which took me by surprise by traveling through Elkad's territory. The same Elkad who was telling me how he fear Sinimusta and whom I promised I will do all in my powers to help with army if Sinimusta attacks him. I am not even mad, I am amazed that Sinimusta somehow managed to talk Elkad to allying with him against me. After Sinimusta losing the bigger part of his frigates fleet and facing my infantries against his rifles, he called the attack off too, but we keep being in a state of war.

Right now, I am in the process of taking cities from REM, while Ot4e decided to attack REM too, as he had to do something with his standing army and fleet. Dick's Sumeria is almost dead under the combined hits of Sinimusta and REM. Elkad is sitting in his corner of the world, maybe expecting his deserved fate of being torn apart by my just started to roll out from my drydocks destroyers and transporters.

So far, so good. Me and Sinimusta are quite the balanced powers with him having more food, while me having more production and beakers output. Tanks are in the very near horizon, swiftly followed by fighters/bombers and maybe even nukes. Big wars are ravaging with my expectation to get even more hot.

2metra, thanks for the update.

So after the battles there are 6 civs left, with Dick and Elkad diminished and REM under attack from you and Ot4e. Meanwhile Sinimusta is in retreat but still formidable.

Well, Elkad is not diminished, he is in fact the only one who was not even touched by the wars raging right now. He just happened to be aside from it.

Ah the site is back up! Sorry I didn't know the login until I got it messaged by sina, who also cannot unpause/pause for me. Would be grateful if someone could.

Hey guys! I finished my nightmarish campaign (hopefully), so I am back to normal civ playing capabilities.

Game on!
