GameSpot has posted a new box art for Play the World. It looks a lot cooler than the old one IMO.

Reminds me of arm-wrestling or something.... :) I don't know what the old one looks like but this new one seems... somewhat garish. I dislike it.

I dunno. . . at first, I was 'blech, it sucks'. . . but after looking it it, it isn't so bad. I still like the older one better. . . maybe that will be the CivIII + PTW box art now.

I don't really care. My boxes last a few minutes before their thrown out.

It represents Multiplayer, I like it. In fact I think I just found a new Desktop:D Btw, warpstorm, you might want to save it, you might need the barcode for multiplayer

I'm more interested about what's ON the box, look! Helicopters (diffrent ones) and the Eiffel Tower! But I still prefer the old one, I agree with Knigh-Dragon, it's VERY garish

Ok, after looking at it a few more times. I now think it's a little too bold also. It's probably better to use a battlefield scene instead of arm-wrestling.

The arm-wrestling one makes me think of some action game. I don't like it at all.

Yeah, a battle picture would be best since that's what happens the most. How about swordsmen going at it with some musketmen? We all try to get a tech advantage so...

Knight dragon what does 'garish' mean? You use that word to describe everything but I've never heard it before. Do you mean 'garnish'? The box looks like garnish???

The barehanded guy has his finger right on top of the spike of the gauntlet...that must hurt.

Garish as in garish. Check your dictionary. :)

I had never heard that word before either, but found it in my dictionary. Unfortunately, I don't really understand the translation either. :) Still, I think I get the general meaning.

I like the old one better to, but I do think the new one grabs the attention more. Its like, whats that about... Anyways, its just a box. :D

Panzar75-I also like the old one better. Isn't that often almost everyone can agree on a topic like this?
Hmmm well Let me put it this way, The original, is far to simple, The second is more explanatory. Like HotDog Fish pointed out, that’s the Eiffel Tower!?!?!
