I'm trying to figure out which relics are new. They said they added 8 new ones in the Fall Patch.

So far I've found these four which I think are new:

Eight-Hand Mirror, Grapevine Cross, Gundestrup Cauldron, Holy Lance.

Another one is Chains of the Apostle, which appeared in one of the first look videos.

Anyone know the last three new relics?

Are Robes of the Guru new? I got that in my current game. I don't remember it before.

Robes of the Guru is old. I got that before the Fall Patch. The new relics seem to be bigger in size than the old relics.

Relic Shroud of Turin.jpg Relic Silk Texts 2.jpg Relic Splinter of the True Cross 2.jpg Relic Stone of Scone.jpg Relic Tooth of the Prophet.jpg

Some more old relics, because I couldn't fit them into one post.

Thanks for this thread, Guandao, I hadn't seen half of these! They even have the Stone of Scone, an example of an artefact that was actually stolen! (By a group of Scottish students hoping to repatriate it from the cursed English who had removed it to Westminster Abbey).

That grape vine cross, will it hopefully suggest an addition of a certain civ up in the mountains possibly led by a female king in the future?

Now, they are teasing us. :p

I got the Holy Lance, and also something called the Cincture of the Theotokos.

I also got the Cincture of the Theotokos and the grapevine cross. Image of the first attached. The new ones generally seem shinier.

Book of Thoth is an old relic? I've never seen it before. Is it part of vanilla or from a DLC? Thanks for posting the screenshots.

Book of Thoth has been in the game since release.

I don't know if it is new or not, but I just got Bones of the Magi.

They really should add more relics not related to christianism, because right now, it's really one sided.

Yeah, I'm disappointed that they still didn't add the Nebra Sky Disc.

I got Casket of the Evangelist. I am playing as the Khmer and my dear neighbor Pedro is inquisition-crazy. He has been very helpful in acquiring relics.

Maybe it is not well known enough. Or not as funny as monotheistic pseudo artefacts ...

Well, some miles from here were also nice entities found, which are dated to the very beginning of the Upper Paleolithic, such as the Venus of Schelklingen (oldest undisputed example of a depiction of a human being yet discovered), the even older lion-headed, zoomorphic Löwenmensch ("Lionhuman") figurine, an ivory flute dated to 42,000 years ago ... belonging to the early Aurignacian culture on the Swabian Alb - possibly one of the inventors, not just of figurative art and music, but the earliest religious practices as well.

That's who I got my relics from in my Khmer game! He's such a nice fellow to have his inquisitors kill my missionaries.
