I just finished a really interesting book about the important but much for forgotten part of history. Incase you don't know, The Great Game, was a competition in central Asia during imperial times between Britain, various warlord factions, Russia, and later the USSR. My scenario would take start in the 1900s, around the time of the end of the Russian Revolution. I probaly will not really get started until Conquest comes out, but I wanted to see people's opinions and how much anyone actually knew about these events.
Right now civs are:
Bolsheviks- Most of Russia and Siberia, troops throughout Central Asia
White Russians- Peices of South-Eastern Siberia and West Mongolia
Manchu China-Area around Peking
Communist China-Outer Chinese provinces of China
Nationalist China- Central, and Southern China
Britain-East Africa, Middle East, India, Burma, Troops throughout Central Asia
France- Syria, Indochina
USA-Phillipines, Troops in Siberia
Sinkiang- Xinjiang province, Chinese Muslims
Mongolia- Easten Mongolia
Belarus- Area around Minsk
Ukraine- Modern borders, except for the western part.
Georgia- modern borders
Turkey- Modern borders, except for parts of Armenia, troops
throughout the caucasus
Armenia- Modern borders except the Turkish controlled area, troops in North-East Turkey
Azerbaijan-Modern borders
Uzbeckstan- Area around Samarquand, troops in Tashkent and Tajikstan areas
Turkestan-Modern Borders, Troops throughout Central Asia.
Kazakstan- Scattered cities, and troops
Krygistan- Modern borders
Afghanistan- Modern borders except for the "Vakhan area" that touchs China, and keeps Tajikstan from touching India
Iran- Modern borders
Saudi Arabia- Modern borders
Thailand- Modern borders
Japan- Japan, Korea, Manchuria, troops throughout East Asia, espeically China
Romania- Modern borders except controls Moldavia
Tibet- Modern borders of the province.
I also plan on using lots of WWI, WWII units, I am also trying to think of and find some special spy units, Since Espianoge was a huge factor in this. I will definatly be using Sween32's Dalai Lama
