Probably location with Ivory... there are war-elephants in the game but they look different AFAIK.

short and simple: yes
there is somekind of defence system that you can build, cant remember the name and to lazy to look it up but whit this system built theres a 75% chanse that the nuke wont explode you can look it up in the nuke preview
