new spell creation

with spells:

when doing new stuff that is obivously xml only (like promotions, summoning units, things that clearly don't need python) is there anything that needs to be modified besides the spellinfo file?...i couldn't find any other reference points, but before my blindness made me say something which owuld make baby jesus cry I thought I'd ask.
 
What kind of spells are you trying to add? Do you have the other xml files modified properly (if any of them are referenced)?
 
I haven't started yet,

the main thing I am going to do is add units (for a unique civ) summons
and I would like to be able to add "fence lines" of peaks, making the recon unit attacks a lot more important

niether look like they need python changes...but before I started ripping and pasting I wanted to make sure I had a saftey line attached somewhere
