New to lan, need help

Hello, everyone =)

I've been playing Civilization 3 -Conquest for a few weeks and gotten my buddy interested. And we want to lan, we use Hamachi for all our laning needs but we can't get Civilization to work. It dosn't matter who hosts the game. They don't show up =/

Just how do you lan in this weird game?

I've never used Hamachi, but when I play on an actual LAN the game shows up in the lobby as soon as someone clicks the host button.

Have you tried it on an actual LAN? Perhaps its a Hamachi problem.

Have you checked version compatibility? Firewalls? Other network related interfering things?
