New undisclosed Paradox game on the horizon: Millennia

Never played Age of Wonders 4, but I took a look at a review of it. Would be wonderful if 'Millenia' featured a similar design-your-own-culture system

You presumably knew some stuff ahead of time for the announcement, though.

That's what I meant ;), there can be some perks in our position.
But now you basically know everything what I know too.

The game itself looks interesting. Looking at the screenshots I get the right feeling. Could be very interesting, if it works out well.

and oh boy, don't check the comments of the youtube announcement...
Did they change or update the video? Some of the comments are obviously jokes but some people seem pretty sincere in their speculations that don't seem to be related to the video

The game lacks that "oompf" for me to be like I need it... it looks.. interesting, but it all comes down to the harmony of each mechanic.

A chevron on the right sleeve denoted being a Alter Kämpfer, for members of the Party before the 1933 takeover.
Good catch. The Germans also used a very acute chevron or double chevron on the sleeve to denote a Gefreitor or Obergefreitor (senior privates), but they were much more acute angles than shown in the illustration. The broad chevron as shown much more resembles the British type of sleeve insignia. A minor thing, but definitely indicates that they are not trying for strict historical accuracy in the game.

Ugly Graphics, won't touch it.
Graphics is very decent imho. The only thing I worry about is AI. I'm pretty damn sure it will be as bad as the AI in all modern strategy games. In other words I will most likely not touch it for that reason.
