Actually, I WAS being stupid - very stupid... But I've now managed to re-engage the brain

I'm actually scaling down a new leaderhead (for a new civ - I'll post it fairly soon), so a new units32 isn't much use in this circumstance (although very useful in others - thanx zulu9812 )
