Hey,
I sympathize with the general consesus that the wonder videos in Civ4 are sub-par to what I was expecting... but really, it's not so hard to do anything about it.
To make new wonder videos we need:
1. Pretty pictures of the wonders (film clips are hard to get)
2. Nice background music choices
3. Movie editing software
4. Tools to convert into Bink format
All of this is availible so I don't see why this project would be undoable. I was thinking of sitting down and do it myself, but I don't have all that's needed. In particular, I'm no good at setting music to videos. I'm alright at arranging pictures and doing the technical conversion stuff, but I may need some help collecting useful pictures and music.
Also, copyright stuff may come in the way, in particular in the music area. I have no experience in that field either...
Are anyone willing to help with this? To sum up what I need is basically:
1. Purdy pics.
2. Purdy music.
3. Advice on copyright stuff.
Any takers? My finals are at an end on tuesday... I got some time then until my next finals in six months.
