I was thinking, shouldn't the Great Zimbabwe and Tianamen Square be Wonders?

Yes, and how about the Tower of Babel? I propose it should require Masonry and Mysticism and cost about 300 hammers. Possible effects would be:

1. +3 health and +3 happiness in the city that built it.
2. Ability to make missioraries for any religion that has been founded.
3. +50% culture/turn

It should probably produce GP-points for a Great Prophet.

well I think it makes sense for each civ in the game to have at least one or two wonders (from their own countries). The way it currently is, the wonders from many countries in the game are neglected, and ones from others are over-emphasized.

An interesting twist might be a limited lifespan on that Wonder, where after say, 50 turns, an Earthquake destroys the wonder.

Effect would be creating a window of time for a Civ to rapidly expand Culturally, but would not get long-term advantages from it, necessarily.

It would be cool if there were unique 'natural wonders' such as Niagara Falls allowing a civ to utilize it to harness power. Equidorial places could have tourism. A certain area on the map could be considered windy and have to depend on windmill power.
