You have to make sure the view is by unit, and not by city, to see how many Workers you have.

Thanks. Now I can see how many workers I have. Only, I didn't know how I did it. I pressed around the word 'unit' or 'city', but nothing happened. Then I pressed all over, and suddenly it changed to 'unit'.

GOLD NUKE :),

You have to use the Upload system to load the files on to the civfanatics server. Once that is done, the must point to that place, using it's url.[/b]

You have put the pth to the files opn your hard drive. How is the webpage meant to link to your computer? It links to webservers only...

There is a link on the bottom of every forum page, including this one. Scroll to the bottom of the webpage and you should see an 'Upload File' link. click this and a new window appears. Browse to the file on yuour hard drive and upload it, it is all very simple really. Once you have sone this, read back to my last post and use the same link that I do, just change the filemane to your file.

Gold Nuke    oh Gold Nuke. Don't you at least check to see what you posted before you leave the thread? You do know that you can EDIT your post right?

Can I remove the threat of diplomatic defeat by razing the U.N.?

Von Karstein

Yes!

Or just own it, and never allow a vote to be held. But if you raze it, the option is gone for good.

@Von Karstein:

Yes! :)

Yeah, I'm sorry I forgot to mention it. You have to press the word Unit to view it by unit. Then you can count 'em.

AFAIK you only lose some (up to two) city improvements. I've once read (so it's totally unconfirmed) that you'll loose your barracks first.

Aggie: AFAIK, city improvements and units get disbanded, wonders (such as FP) do not. Can't say what would happen if you have no city improvements or units to disband, but hopefully it's not that bad.

This was discussed once as a method of running a huge deficit deliberately to get techs. What you must remember is that a 40 shield barracks in an outlying city will cost 160 gold or so to rush it again, so it is not an amazingly useful strat. Also, IIRC, there never was any pattern found to what got disbanded.

Hi again, is there a way to see how many units you have lost. Casualties?

Thanks.
It would be bad for morale if they did that ;)

I can see it now in the military advisor:

'Sir! The people are calling for your blood! You have lost 134 Knights!'

hehe

I think you CAN do that if you have discovered espionage, then go to the military screen (F3), I believe your casualities will be listed below, although I'm not quite sure because I'm at my girls house and my game is 4,500 miles away :(
