Wonders can be destroyed, such as when a city is razed.
I believe manhatten project allows the construction of nuclear weapons as soon as it's built, regardless of if it stays built.
So, in short, I believe you can still build them, even after it's gone.

It doesn't work. Try to upload again, or upload it in the civfanatics upload folder. To do that you:
1. On the bottom of any page, click on the upload file button
2. Upload the file
3. Click on "Post reply" and put it in through this link

I've seen my foreign advisor say that we shouldn't trust so and so, or they are known cheats, etc.
But, uhh, yeah, I have yet to see it actually have any effect on the game, except in terms of ruling out Diplo victory for that AI...

Game is on Warlord Level, Playing with normal Civ3 (no PTW) with the 1.29F patch.
I used advice from this forum and I changed my science to nothing so I'm getting cash (I'm currently paying a civ gold a turn)
I'm building libraries and universities and all that stuff.
I'm aiming to win diplimatically, or space race (or whatever way would be best)
Can you please tell me how I'm going and what you think I should do.

You will probably get answers for your Civ2 questions in the Civ2 forum. Most posters here (including me) don't play Civ2 anymore, so my memory about that game is a bit vague.
There are 3 versions of Civ3 around. The original (non-multiplayer) Civ3 for PC (usually called vanilla or v1.29), the same for Mac, and PTW (the new expansion pack). Make sure you have the latest patch for your game, too.
Scenarios in Civ3 are not as varied as in Civ2, because of the limitations of the editor. Most "scenarios" are actually rules changes. Some people have for example increased the hit points of units or added new city improvements. But these do not alter the game nearly as much as in Civ2.

joedoe, it would be a lot easier to start a new thread so there can be a huge discussion, but don't start a new thread please; I'll get to it and make some comments.
Leonardos' cuts the upgrade cost in half, so you upgrade as normal. Click on a unit, and if you have the gold and resources, there will be a lightning bolt on the buttons down below, the upgrade button. Click on that to upgrade. To do mass upgrading click Shift-U (of that unit).

Anyways, Thanks for the advice, When I go back to my game I will click all my units and upgrade them.
I'm almost about to go into the 3rd part of the ages (the one after middle age.... lol)

Can you only upgrade units at the place where I built leonardo's workshop?
Cos I can't seem to upgrade other units, only ones at the place I built leonardo's.

upgrading units requires:
1)gold enough to upgrade
2)resourcs needed to make such a unit
3)a barracks in the cuty where the unit is to be upgraded. Leo's workshop only halves the price, nothing more (though that IS really nice!)
