[BTS] News: BOTM 143 Results and Congratulations

BtS BOTM 143 Results:

Congratulations. Everyone that won (and half the losers) got some kind of award.

hhhawk dominated, winning his twelfth gold medal and seventh cow; kcd_swede took fourth place with the only other Domination win - achieving his first fastest bts domination.

Jovan Kukic conquered the silver medal and fastest Conquest; Xcalibrator got the bronze; and UB40 lowest score Conquest.

neilmeister and MarleysGh0st had the patience for Space victories.

c^3 had the only Diplomatic victory.

Only the AIs went for culture, achieving an impressive four victories. [Thanks for playing to the end and submitting].

Here's where everyone settled.

The Small Print:
The numbers by each player's name indicate the turn settled on (starting turn is 0). Players are colour coded by game class (challenger=red, adventurer=blue). Symbols indicate victory condition, if there's no symbol then the player either retired or was defeated. The yellow border indicates the land that was visible at the start of the game.

neilmeister and MarleysGh0st had the patience for Space victories.

That's a tactful way of saying that I didn't see a way of achieving a conquest or domination victory, even when I was playing the adventurer save.

But if you're talking about patience, I don't think any of us can compete with the 124 hours neilmeister logged on this game!

LOL, it wasnt 124 hours of continuous play, I leave it running normally and only save and stop at the normal Oracle point (so I can stop and have a good think) and if the family wants onto my PC.

Congrats to the others for their wins.

Yay, another shield... Only missed the gold medal by 200000 points, I guess that's progress. Fastest Dom was a shock, since it 1700AD isn't really fast (not even by my standards) But I'm grateful.
