The Khmer Empire stood the Test of Time. Two games lasted until 2050 and achieved time victories! Only one cow is awarded, to C00per's impressive 20309. Poor zbgayumn:sad: will have to try again. hhhawk had the third highest base score, fastest domination and took the gold medal using the challenger save :goodjob: Jovan Kukic took silver with a 1200AD conquest. Busy neilmeister made time to play and achieved fastest spaceship along with the Bronze.
Diplomatic victory wasn't very popular, with only 2 and whb achieving both fastest and lowest score. Some really fast finishes this game: Dhoomstriker achieved conquest in 625 BC, nocho won a Religious victory in 820 AD, beating Mitchum's 1210 AD Culture win. nealw also deserves mention for using challenger save. Conquest was very popular, with 18 victories. I suppose Earth maps are much like Pangaea if you don't bother going to the new world. Domination is tougher and only 2 bothered with it.

Here's where everyone settled. Sorry about the marble. Moving to the forest was cursed as donsig had the only (submitted) loss and kcd_swede one of few retirements.

The Small Print:
The numbers by each player's name indicate the turn settled on (starting turn is 0). Players are colour coded by game class (challenger=red, adventurer=blue). Symbols indicate victory condition, if there's no symbol then the player either retired or was defeated. The yellow border indicates the land that was visible at the start of the game.

Well done to everbody.. :goodjob:

Even Nocho who beat me on the religious victory.. Teach me to research useless techs before trying for an AP victory.. ;)

Damn it all! How am I supposed to have my celebratory steak dinner without a cow?

Now I'm going to have to hold a grudge against c00per for all time.

Congrats, Dhoomstriker, on crushing all of us with the only finish in the BCs (other than KCD's retirement ;)). Nice job!

It should also be noted that my Cultural victory was done via the much faster Espionage method while Jesusin, who used the traditional method, only finished a handful of turns later than me.

Indeed, those are some spectatular Cultural dates from both Mitchum and jesusin. It does make me wonder that if jesusin were to really put his mind to it and went with an Espionage approach, but incorporated some of the more traditional Cultural Victory tactics, just how much gain we could see from a hybrid approach.

Good job, neilmeister, on a nice Spaceship Victory date!

Congrats to hhawk for the great result without use of the Ivory, to nealw for also daring to take on the Challenger saved game, and to greatbeyond for having the determination to also pull off a Domination Victory.

donsig, you must have a whole fleet of ambulances collected by now.

c00per and zbgayumn, you both certainly have a lot of patience to play out the game until the last turn with decently-sized empires, getting (Base) Scores more than 20 times greater than mine!

I do have to give credit to c00per on that front. I began to regret my strategy as the game time passed 30 and then 40 hours and settled at 49. However, that was small change compared to the reported 168 hours on c00per's game.

Oh yeah, that's right. I added the espionage badge to your results above. :espionage: Note that this victory isn't tracked and isn't needed for an Eptathlon. I decided to allow it this month as few were attempting it.
jesusin is still king :king: of culture wins.

Congrats to all players that participate, specially you Donsig ! If I remember, you sad one time: "After all those years and still playing..." You're an example for us all :worship:!

Domination is tougher and only 2 bothered with it.

I imagine that. My intention was also Domination. It would be very cool to travel across the ocean and settle the other lands, but I've failed  with my war process and Conquest was the best way :p! Impressive score and date hhhawk !

I'm very glad to be among the Top Ten :w00t: (I think I ended the game with just one tile more than WelshGandalf :whew:, comparing our scores) :D!

Thanks again for another game, Deckhand! Keep up the good work :goodjob:!

Like always congrats to all medal and award winners with those really impressive scores and dates :goodjob:

w00t! My first "fastest finish" award  I'm awesome :king:

Sorry. After I understood that no other victory with a good score or date is possible I decided to go for an all out milking. You can have your cow steak dinner next time ;) Because I swear I won't go for a cow in BTS ever again

donsig, you must have a whole fleet of ambulances collected by now.
It seems to me that donsig is doing this on purpose :mischief:

Yeah. It requires a hell lot of patience but that's the only "skill" you need to reach 2050. But I have no idea what kind of skill set you need to wipe out 6 civs in 90 turns or reach a 300k score

I have to admit that the last 100 or so turns were really painful (and lagful). Won't be playing CIV for a while  I guess that out of those 168h about 50-60 were spent doing something else but it's still more than 100h - I'm one sick mofo :crazyeye:
