After some trouble uploading game information to the gotm server, here it finally goes!


Civilization: Russia
Rivals: 5 pre-selected.
Barbarians: Roaming
Difficulty: Emperor
Land Form: Pangaea, 60% ocean, small map.
Geology: 5 billion years old, wet, temperate

General Bonus - 1 Warrior and 25 Gold for removal of nearby Goody Huts.

Conquest-Class Bonuses:

1. Start with a bonus scout
2. 50 Extra Gold (85 Gold total)
3. Knowledge of The Alphabet

Predator-Class Equalisers:

1. All AIs start with 2 pikeman.
2. No bonus warrior and no extra 25 Gold
3. Loss of Pottery Tech

Hi,
I tried to send the following question to ainwood as a "private message", but he has exceeded his "private messages quota", so couldn't accept it...

Therefore I'm posting it here. Ainwood: perhaps you'll read it in time, or someone else can answer it for me.

On the left-hand sidebar of the GOTM overview page it says: "Submit by Aug 17", while in the description of GOTM69 itself it says "Submissions due by August 16th, 2007".

Could you please clear this up for me? I'm not yet quite finished with my game, so I need to know whether I need to turn in the incomplete game or whether I still have tonight to finish it...
(And I would hate to miss the deadline after putting so much effort into it... )

Also what is the latest time for the submission? 23:59:59 GMT?

On the GOTM Submissions page, it tells you how much time is remaining to submit each of the current games. GOTM 69 has approximately 2 days remaining now.

Ok, thanks a lot! (It didn't occur to me to look there...)
And this saves my day! Midnight of Aug 17th in the timezone GMT-11 means 12:00 of Aug 18th in GMT+1, and as Germany is in daylight savings time right now, I still have time untill Aug 18th, 13:00 local time!
That's almost 48 hours left, great!
