Why 55 not 60 ? Its not rounded up is it ?
Just looking at a save file:
47 from terrain
10 from buildings
28 base (62-34 eaten by citizens)
So it seems ToA makes 57 into 62.
However, below that it sais
Total 35.87
Which exactly matches (57*1.1 -34)*1.25
Without any rounding done, the rounding (down) is just on the displayed numbers.

It is hard to compare ToA to hangings.
Over the course of a 200 turn game normally i think they would provide a similar amount of food provided. In this extroardinary start, ToA provides a little more over 200 turns (it matches hangings turn 100)
If it would provide equal food, hangings would probably be better though. Anything that comes early is usually better than things that come later.
On the other hand, the end game food decides your capped out city size. With ToA providing a bit more end game food, your city could become a bit bigger if it has time to grow to its cap. (2-3 citizens or so)
Since citizens beyond the size where you utilize every tile and every possible specialist are not that huge i actually think hangings is probably better in most games. It is close though.
I did this analysis for the firs time this game. In this case it wasnt really needed actually because we could build both, but i do think that most of us relatively overvalue ToA a bit in comparison to hangings. (which i never hear much fuzz about while everyone shouts ToA is the best wonder in the game) In future games i wont be taking risks by building it when i can be beaten to it if i can just build hangings safely instead. Unless of course we can build both. Both is nice

ToA does its thing for all of your cities...doesn't matter for this game though.
