I'm playing as Germany in a TETurkan(with cities) or whatever it's called, map I started out with a dream of world domination(typical German dictator isn't it?) I now have metallurgy, and gunpowder, but I can't seem to find any saltpeter in my borders(tis why I declared war on Hungary) Rome also had some saltpeter but I was wanting to keep rome as an ally, later on Persia signed a military alliance(along with Turkistan/India and Japan) I have no worries about anyone really.

Now I seem to have underestimated Hungary's resolve and military strength(cause they actually beat one of my sod's) with comprise mainly of longbowmen/pikemen/swordsmen and catapults, I cant have knights because Russia has all the horses and they want like 100k gold for one supply of horses(that would break me if i did that)I also control all of western europe, and a large portion of eastern europe.

My war with hungary is costing me a LOT of troops just to keep 'em from advancing on my borders, and I'm now waiting for 20 turn to end(so hopefully they'll talk)

I have nothing to fear from Russia, but I know if I went to war with them, I would be fightng a looooong war(rthey have so much land) I only dread a war with russia because of my 2 wars going on right now, so, what should I do next?

I'm building fortrifications near russia in hopes of staving any russian attack off and keeping 7 units(3 archers/ 3 pikemen and 1 artie unit stationed on each fort)

I have no men left in western Europe, and I'm pulling a few out of eastern europe, the question is: should i pull more troops out of eastern europe and risk losig eastern europe to russia? or what should I do?

A save / several screenshots would help an short attention span person like me keep track of all that's you're saying o.o

Well, no, I don;t know where the screenshots go...

and all I was asking was, should I pull troops from the Russo-German front to combat the Roman threat? or should I keep troops stationed in "Ukraine" to keep russians off my back?

Well, no, I don;t know where the screenshots go...

Screenshots alone probably wouldn't be enough anyway. As always around here, the answer is probably "It depends.", and it would probably take more study than could be done just looking at a pic or two.

Ok, since this is russian horses, not cossacks we're talking about, I wouldn't worry much about it, since you'd then have the advantage when defending if they decide to attack you.

Wait...horsemen flee when in red, right?...If they do then just some defenders on large groups of workers by the border, and inside your towns.

Other than that, if the horsemen flee ( I hate horrific memory, seriously), then that's good for you since they won't fight your city defenders to the last hp, and run sooner.

Sooo...yeah...keep units on key spots by the border, and send units to the romans is what my guess would have to be.
