San Fran at Lambeau?! This might be close at moments but it should be obvious who will end up victorious.

San Fran has improved with Rattay, but I don't see them winning against the Pack who by the way are in the playoff hunt still.

Speaking of playoff hunts, Cincinnati might run the table in their division. I think they can win it. I won't jump on their band wagon, cause everytime I do they let me down. Happened once this year already. I'll have to keep my eyes open this week before I make my picks. No more daring picks like last week. I geuss I should have stayed my opinion that San DIego might be the worst team in football this year. :aargh:

Carolina @ Dallas - Carolina
A close game, but Dallas can't sustain winning on the back of Bill Parcells, faced with superior talent.

Indionapolis @ Buffalo - Indionapolis
The Colts are playing better and Drew Bledsoe is playing worse.

New England @ Houston - Houston
Houston is getting better as the season progresses. They are just playing footnall. I can't imagine a 9-2 New England.

Pittsburg @ Cleveland - Cleveland
Cleveland's record does not reflect its talent level.

San Francisco @ Green Bay - Green Bay
Green Bay has been losing some close games, because of some unusual issues. Green Bay's record also does not reflect its talent level.

St. Louis @ Arizona - St. Louis
The Rams, although struggling at times, is getting the wins; and I just don't see Arizona having the talent, the planning, and the will to put up a fight.

Oakland @ Kansas City - Kansas City
After the stunning loss, last week, to Cincinatti, the Chiefs are awakened to a troubling reality. They can be beat by any team on any given day. They will work twice as hard to ensure retribution.

Washington @ Miami - Miami
The Dolphins need to win this game if they want to remain in competition for the AFC East Division Title. They have already lost to the Patriots, at home. In two weeks they travel to New England. They need confidence going into that game to win, away.

Detriot @ Minnesota - Minnesota
The Vikings are barely clinging to a one game lead in the NFC North. The motivation to stay in the lead combined with the poor performance of the Lions will win the day.

Jacksonville @ N.Y Jets - N.Y Jets
Neither of these teams are performing particularly well, however the Jets were absolutely embarrased last week (defensively). I think we can expect some positive changes.

---( GAME OF THE WEEK )---
New Orleans @ Philadelphia - Philadelphia
This will be a close, well-fought match. The Eagles are dead even in the race for NFC East Division lead and the Saints are trying to keep their season alive. Neither team, for various reasons, can afford to lose momentum at this point. However, the Eagles seem to have it together, looking like the team of the past two seasons that made the NFC Championship games. McNabb's performance has been excellent, with 300+ yards passing last week. I expect this to continue.

Seattle @ Baltimore - Seattle
The Seahawks are coming into the game tied with the Rams for the division lead. They have the motivation and the need to win. I don't see the Ravens being anything more than a speed bump along the way to a stunning division title win.

Chicago @ Denver - Chicago
Chicago has been losing some close games this season. They are better than their record shows, while Denver is playing well, I expect an upset.

Cincinatti @ San Diego - Cincinatti
The Bengals are coming into this game with the notion that "we beat the best" and that kind of confidence will propell them in this match versus a horrible Chargers team.

Tennessee @ Atlanta - Tennessee
The Titans simply are the tooth and nail fighting club of the NFL. They keep meeting disappointment, because of injuries and other unforntunate events. They are on a roll and I don't see Atlanta stopping them.

---(MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)---
N.Y Giants @ Tampa Bay - Tampa Bay
Neither of these teams have been playing at their potential, but Tampa Bay has way more talent and the internal distractions in New York are going to decide this match.

:goodjob: Nice picks, very well thought out.

FYI: Tampa just discharged Keyshawn Johnson, which means he won't be playing anymore football this year. Not for Tampa or anyone. Maybe next time he'll watch that mouth of his before saying anything about Gruden having a long way to go before being as good as Parcells.
;) I partially agree with Keyshawn, but Gruden doesn't have a long way. I think Gruden being the youngest coach in history to head coach a team when he took the job in Oakland and then being the youngest coach in history to win a Superbowl is merit enough to put in him in the same league with Parcells. He has quite a few years left in him, and he is every bit as mean and dominate to his players. His players would do anything for him as well. Keyshawn worked so well with Parcells, that Parcells traded him to Tampa to get him out of his hair. Keyshawn has a bad habit of opening his mouth without thinking too much. Too bad he isn't opening his hands when the ball comes to him or this team wouldn't be on the verge of elimination. :nono: Stop pointing fingers Keyshawn and be a pro for once. Do your job and everything will come together. Rant and rave and you become a distraction, not a help.

Yeah, and surprisingly, the Browns released WR Kevin Johnson, as well.

WEEK 12
Sunday, Nov. 23
Carolina at Dallas, 1:00 pm
Carolina - Dallas's offense is running out of steam, which is bad new considering the Panthers' D.

Detroit at Minnesota, 1:00 pm
Minnesota - Detroit's the medicine the Vikes need? Maybe?

Indianapolis at Buffalo, 1:00 pm
Indianapolis - Bledsoe vs. Manning. No contest.

Jacksonville at N.Y. Jets, 1:00 pm
NY Jets - Pennington's still very hungry after his injury.

New England at Houston, 1:00 pm
Houston - Upset of the week. NE is ripe for a collapse and the Texans are surging...

New Orleans at Philadelphia, 1:00 pm
Philadelphia - McNabb's seriously silencing his critics...

Pittsburgh at Cleveland, 1:00 pm
Cleveland - The Steelers are going to fall to Raider level.

Seattle at Baltimore, 1:00 pm
Seattle - Ray Lewis can't do it all by himself.

San Francisco at Green Bay, 1:00 pm
Green Bay - Rattay's third pro start is at Lambeau. he's got to be wetting himself right now.

Chicago at Denver, 4:05 pm
Denver - Jake the Snake is back and it shows.

St. Louis at Arizona, 4:05 pm
St. Louis - The Arizona D might be just what Bulger and the Rams offense need.

Cincinnati at San Diego, 4:15 pm
Cincinnati - Marvin Lewis will keep tose Bengals sharp, but the Corey Dillon thing may be a distraction.

Oakland at Kansas City, 4:15 pm
Kansas City - The Chiefs will bounce back against their Rivals.

Tennessee at Atlanta, 4:15 pm
Tennessee - McNair won't allow them to fade...

Washington at Miami, 8:30 pm
Miami - Somebody please sack Spurrier...

Monday, Nov. 24
N.Y. Giants at Tampa Bay, 9:00 pm
Tampa Bay - The Bucs will respond to Jon Grudens' message. His way or the highway...

Week 12 picks

Carolina over Dallas How many more times can this weak Cowboy Offense be shutout this year?

Minnesota over Detroit uh, yeah!

Indianapolis over Buffalo The only thing Buffalo has going for them in this game is cold air!

N.Y. Jets over Jacksonville Pennington playing well so far since his return.

New England over Houston I don't see Belichek letting his team look past this team!

Philadelphia over New Orleans Now the Eagles start fighting for Home field advantage!

Pittsburgh over Cleveland This division is pathetic, no reason for anyone to distance themselves one way or the other.

Seattle over Baltimore I only pick Seattle on the road because this team is better than the crappy ones they usually lose to! (you know, lose to teams they shouldn't and the other way around)

Green Bay over San Francisco Packers could be trying to get the Division now!!

Denver over Chicago I cannot come to think the Bears could win! They put forth a good effort last week, but not 2 in a row!

St. Louis over Arizona Arzona has heat, and what else?

San Diego over Cincinatti Bengals play down to lesser foe, And we cannot have anyone in the AFC North actually distance themselves!

Kansas City over Oakland They will rebound!

Tennessee over Atlanta Tennessee will continue playing good.

Miami over Washington They better beat them if they want to remain in the playoff race!

Tampa Bay over New York Giants They will win after what happened this week!

Can Cleveland win with all the distractions on their team? Green is stabbed by his woman and Johnson is cut and resigned elsewhere. I think they can. Steelers are going down.

BTW: I like the Texans and all, but you can't be serious about them winning this week. Belichick is the ultimate strategist and will have his team ready, as he does every week. The Patriots are playing like they did a couple years ago. Under the radar and sneaking in the back doot to pummel the NFC Champs in a Superbowl. I'll drink to a repeat of that.

I find it scary that my picks are within one game to being identical to the next two pick lists.

WEEK 12

New Orleans at Philadelphia*, 1:00 pm
Pittsburgh at Cleveland*, 1:00 pm
Seattle* at Baltimore, 1:00 pm
San Francisco at Green Bay*, 1:00 pm

Tennessee* at Atlanta, 4:15 pm
Washington at Miami*, 8:30 pm
Monday, Nov. 24
N.Y. Giants at Tampa Bay*, 9:00 pm

Here are my picks, and if you ask me, everyone has similiar picks because a lot of good teams are playing bad ones this week:

Carolina over Dallas
Dallas is my 2nd favorite team and I love Bill Parcells, but I don't know if Quincy can have time to throw against this d-line. I do know that the Cowboys receivers will get open, but can Quincy find them while on the run? :crazyeye:

Minnesota over Detroit
uhm, yeah right. Detroit should rename it's team to the Calico's, because they're about as dangerous as that.

Indianapolis over Buffalo
Peyton will dominate this game with a decent performance. This game will be ugly. Buffalo's defense is playing better, but Bledsoe just can't seam to get the offense going anymore. Reminds me what happened in New England before the Brady Bunch took over. Buffalo has bad luck with QB's.

NY Jets over Jacksonville
Chad Pennington is getting healthier and the Jets are just way better than Jacksonville. The Jags are under construction.

New England over Houston
The Texans can put points up, but they aren't going to have it easy. The Pats redesigned their offense and defense against Dallas, to take out the Parcells factor. I don't think there's a team that can out coach this one. Only out play. Houston doesn't have the personel for that yet. :mwaha:

Philadelphia over New Orleans
Philly is coming back strong and trying to regain their stance as the best of the NFC East. With Dallas and Philly both playing tough games, I can see McNabb pushing to the limit to give Philly the chance to tie Da Boys. Oh yeah, Philly is tough at home. Real tough. The city of brotherly love doesn't apply to visiting teams. Just ask Michael Irvin [punch].

Cleveland over Pittsburgh
This game will be the pits for Steeler fans. To my astonishment, the Browns look much better without Johnson and Green.

Seattle over Baltimore
I would pick Baltimore because Seattle always falls off at the end of the year, but the Ravens are having off field problems and finger pointing is the first sign of selfishness and that will cost games.

Green Bay over San Francisco
San Fran might be getting better, but they are not as desperate or eager as Green Bay is to win this game. 1st reason: Green Bay can catch up with the Vikes and pass them if they even come close to winning out. Especially the way the Vikes have been playing. 2nd reason: It's not Cali weather. 49ers will fight at the dawn of winter and will freeze. This is the season of the Pack. They are at their best in the cold months.

Denver over Chicago
Jake the Snake is still over-rated as far as I'm concerned, but he is still a decent QB and will drive the ball down the Bears throats. Not to mention the thin air gives Denver a double advantage at home. Just ask Flutie. :vomit:

St. Louis over Arizona
Arizona is still playing this year? The Rams are going to catch this little bird and do to them as that Arizona pitcher did to that Dove. :die:. You know, maybe part of the Cardinals problem is that name. They may be mean birds, but a water hose kicks their tail feathers. Maybe if they were called the Arizona Phoenix they might be more intimidating.:hmm:

Cincinnati over San Diego
San Diego, beautiful city, ugly football team. nuff said.

Kansas City over Oakland
Kansas City has taken every Monday off this year except this week. I think they are going to be a little more serious this week than they have been. Oakland will feel like a red headed step child.

Tennessee over Atlanta
Vick is back, but a team mate stepped on his bad ankle.:nono:. Tennessee is the best team in football this year. I don't care what Tony Gonzalez thinks.

Miami over Washington
Ricky and the Dolphins will make Spurrier wish he would have stayed in college. Dave Wannstedt is fighting for his job and is desperate to make the playoffs. He can't get the div title with the Pats playing the way they are, so he's just going to have to shoot for the wildcard and win as much as possible.

Tampa Bay over NY Giants
With Keyshawn out of the picture, maybe the Buccs can rebound like Cleveland did last week. Now Sapp is once again the only big mouth on the Buccs. The Giants are moving too slow and getting crushed. No Shockey for them either.

Yeah, I just copy-pasted your picks...

Yeah, that's what I said...

When I wrote down everybody's picks I was kinda shocked on how close everybody picked. Like I said, it seams pretty obvious who is the better teams now that the year is winding down. Of course my picks have gone down as well. :hmm: I stopped taking chances on upsets. They just aren't happening on the games I pick.

So we all either score a high percentage this week or we all suck at picking football games... :D

Little Late but ill make picks for games not occuring now

NY Giants over Tampa Bay

Kansas City over Oakland

Cincinatti over San Diego

Washington over Miami

The color red indicates an upset special.

Better late than never I say.

Washington would be a big upset over Miami, but not for me, would give some distance for my Pats who pulled off another OT win! :rotfl::jump::beer::sheep:

So far, I'm not bad.

I won ten games. I lost four. Two games remaining.

Washington @ Miami
N.Y. Giants @ Tampa Bay

I won one of my two upsets, Chicago over Denver, and Houston lost by three in overtime to New England. 10-4, not bad.

K.C. Chiefs: One easy schedule and a thin line between 10-1 and 5-6

Also, I keep hearing about how good Kansas City is...consider this.

These are the current Top 10 Ranked teams in the NFL:

1. Kansas City 10-1
T-2. New England 9-2
T-2. Indionapolis 9-2
T-2. Tennessee 9-2
T-5. Dallas 8-3
T-5. Carolina 8-3
T-5. St. Louis 8-3
T-5. Philadelphia 8-3
T-9. Minnesota 7-4
T-9. Seattle 7-4

Kansas City has not nor will, during the regular season, play any of these teams, with the exception of Minnesota.

Of the 11 teams the Chiefs have played:

7 Teams below .500
4 Teams above .500

Of those four teams above, they all are only by 1 win. One of those teams beat the Chiefs...that was the Bengals.

5 of these games have been decided by 7 pts. or less, and they barely got past Oakland today, by 3 pts.

Of the 5 remaining games:

3 Teams below .500
2 Teams above .500

Basically, in my own complicated way, I'm saying that K.C has had a hella-easy schedule this season...

Take care that your optimism for the team isn't misplaced.
