Nightmare...

Only you know what it means, but here are some clues:

Car flipped over in a ditch: The world upside down. Things are not as they should be. Things have changed in a big way.

Snake in the glove compartment: A hidden threat is discovered.

Multiple snakes all over the place: The hidden danger or threat is now out in the open.

Having to keep running: Youre afraid of confronting the threat head on. Youd rather not have to deal with it.

Is there anything in your waking life that has all of the above characteristics?

Well this really helps,
I moved about a year and a half ago from a college town that was very Liberal/Northern to a Southern city things in my life changed greatly. The hidden threat may well be my own Atheism, because almost everyone I know is an ultra-right-uber-Christian. These differing viewpoints are a threat to my social life, this is slowly coming out into the open as my friends discover I'm really not as similar to them as they once thought... This is certainly one of those things I really don't want to deal with at all.

There are also several other problems I have, but avoid that might fit tese criteria I shall have too think about them some more...

If it makes a differance the places where this happend in the three instances I remember most clearly were my current house, and twice on differant parts of where I used to live...

Thanks Bozo:goodjob:

Has anyone ever dreamed that they were dreaming? Last night I dreamed that I was nearly waking up from a very interesting dream, so (in my dream) I tried to stay asleep to keep dreaming the dream that I dreamed I was dreaming. :crazyeye:

Dreamed about that multiple times. I sometime dream that I keep waking up, over and over, but it amuses me for some reason so it's not a nightmare.

Next time it happens.

Say:

"This is just a dream."

"And it is my dream!"

"So I can do what I like."

Reach out:

and tie those snakes into silly knots!

That's the best thing you can do actually. Question this: Is this possible? Is this normal? Is this real? Then if you realize it's not, you can stop whenever you want. I can wake up at any time if I'm having a dream. This is the best thing that happened to me about dreaming. Sometimes I manage to keep control over my dream a long time, after realizing it's not true. However, once I realize this, I get a lot more conscious about things around me and it's a very high chance that I'll wake up. I love it when I don't. I can fly, have any power I want, play civ for 100 days in a row, etc.
