no barbarians help please

This may be related to the camp auto-clearing code that was written a few months back. It may be that the camps are appearing but being auto-cleared.

If someone can run logs and see if gold is being given out for the clearings we can find out for sure.

This is the most puzzling bug I have encountered. We are investigating it most vigorously.
 
yeah too bad, cause i didn't realize how important barbs are until I didn't have them :cry: I saw thals issue on github. That's funny cause i thought maybe i would try to figure it out :lol: not so much.... thanks for your work.
 
If you delete the following file barbarians will show up again - Cat/AI/CEAI_Worlds.xml

This file was new and introduced in 3.11.1 so I don;t know exactly what it was for but everything seem to play well if you delete the XML file.
 
Thal has also updated the XML file to the correct values for barb camps and the fix will be released with 3.12 if you want to wait for it.

I can confirm that after the last update Barbs are back and with the changes I make to some of the files I finally feel like RAGING BARBS are back. I did a play test this morning and decided to stop and start another game so I could regroup with a new game plan (well actually an old game plan, just one I haven't used in awhile). All I can say is THANKS for the barbs.

If anyone complains is there anyway that it people can have a choice in barb rates??
