i need help because i dont have leaders like hammurabi and licoln in my civ 4 game also in my game manual it says in the advanced menu there should be a movie tab. there is none for me. help!

is this civ4 or the BtS expansion? if its just civ4 the leaders are not in the game and I *think* the option for movie quality isn't either.

Yeah, I don't have a movie tab either.
I do have Hammurabi and Lincoln though.

I am on windows vista, with civ 4 complete edition patched to 3.19
The movies really aren't necessary, but it would be nice.

there is no "tab" but in one of the latter versions they added an options within the graphics tab to adjust the movie quality.

What I'm talking about is that in the "Quick-Start Manual" that came with my Civilization IV: The Complete Edition, on page 6, under the advanced menu it says "Movies: Go to the Movies Menu, where you can view the animated movies found in Civilization IV."
And I don't have this option.

my complete edition didn't have that quick start thingy . In any case: Civ4 and its derivatives are notoriously bad with printed documentation: they tend to include things that are not there, where never there, but probably got talked about once or twice during a break at the water cooler during the pre-development phase

bottom line: there is no such menu - nor was there ever.
