Originally when I insatalled the game there was no menu items or intros when the game started - the earth and sun were there all right but there was no main menu at all.
I have eMachines m6805 with mobility ATI Radeon 9600
At that time latest Omegas were installed.
Tried installing the original drivers that came with the notebook (very outdated) - same problem.
Tried installing catalyst 5.10 from ATI. The game started all right but I was getting BSODs when trying to get into advanced display properties. I also lost my native LCD resolution 1280x800 (these who own wide screen notebooks know how hard it is to get this right).
I searched more and found DNA hacked ATI drivers (http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1222) they have the game running just fine and 1280x800 works well both in the game and in Windows. Give these drivers a try if you have problems. It might work.
