Today, when I bought Colonization, I was very happy, since I enjoyed the original version. When I asked how the new version was like, somebody gave me the advice of patching up and then downloading Age of Discovery II. I followed the first one without problem, but when the time came to install AoD II, it turns out that there was no Mods folder to install it in? Where do I install it in, and does creating a folder named "Mods" fix the problem?

I installed AoD II into the Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Colonization\MODS folder. I don't believe there is a MODS folder in the main game directory, but yes, if you create one, I think it will work. That said, it's probably easiest to install in the user data folder in your Documents.

I do the same as PiMan and haven't had any problems. It's the same folder structure as Civ4. :)
