no new civ for ps3?

Anyway, yeah ciV will only be available for computers. As for a new console version we'll have to wait and see if there will ever be a CivRev sequel. Here's hoping.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I suspect my laptop will struggle with ciV and I do most of my gaming on consoles anyway. I won't play enough PC games to justify spending all that money of a PC gaming rig.

With CivRev out for the consoles, there was not much reason to think ciV would be anything but a computer only game.

Can't blame flashgordon for wanting it though. I'd love to see a good ciV port on the PS3.

I wonder how a game like Civilization could be played and enjoyed on a console.
If you like deep turn based strategy games then you defenitely need a pc, not only for Civ5... this september is also arriving Elemetal by Stardock.

This is not true ! Civilization 1 was on the SNES too ! back in the 90's
