It seems that at the end of a game at the conclusion of the Modern Age, there is no "One More Turn" option, as well as no post-game analysis of any kind? Apparently Legacy Path progress is shown, but no further information is provided, and you are then forced back to the main menu.

I am really hoping that a more satisfying conclusion can be patched in almost immediately.

I so rarely reached that point in VI that it doesn't really bother me BUT, I have always thought that they do a terrible job of capturing the unique story of your game at the end of a long campaign. I wish they would put some thought into it for once.

I was hoping that all of the talking about how "history is built in layers", and the addition of narrative events would add satisfying flavor to the end of the game. It's pretty disappointing to be honest, especially because Firaxis is aware that many players in VI don't make it to the end of a game and are encouraging more players in VII to get there. I was just hoping for a bigger reward.

I very rarely think Civ5 does much better than other iterations, but in this case the map replay at the end of Civ5 was so good I'm baffled why they didn't bring it back in 6 and don't seem to be bring it back in 7.

Really, Really disappointed in Both of those.

They have Future Techs/Civics... you have repeatable Attribute points....
Any age should be able to be your final Age.... the Crisis should end a while after you hit 100% age progress and you can just continue on.

AND

They really need to tell the story you have been making... if all those narrative events are not part of a Narrative then why are they there??

A Narrative is worthless if nobody ever narrates it.

And a game that says it's about narrative but that doesn't provide any way to preserve and even display the narrative you have produced in your game is simply Lying to you.

Horrible I hope they add it in an update

That’s a real shame, even the graphs of VI were enough to satisfy so many curiosities that had built during the game, and jog my memory of different things that had happened.

Unless I'm missing something, if you lose a game it won't even tell you who won and how (though it's usually pretty obvious).

The post game analysis has been constantly dropping and is really disappointing

....A map based replay with linked timeline (decide what events to show...see religion spreading in Exploration, see CS suzereinity spread, etc.)
... Trophy Room of all the Codices/Relics/Artifacts you got (made or stole)
....What resource gave you the most Factory Resources Points/Treasure Resources Points
...Techs/Civics you (and others) were first to discover
...Xest city of each age (Most pop, sci, culture, gold, happiness, etc.)...Xest Civ of Each age
...Attribute levels/Trees of Leaders
etc.

From today's announcement:-
Looking Ahead

Beyond March, we have several community-requested items on our list that are high priorities for the team. Some examples of these include:

  • Adding a “One More Turn” button that will let you continue playing past the end of the Modern Age

The narrative events to me felt like totally random and arbitrary bonuses or maluses with virtually no actual narrative benefit or cohesiveness. I was very disappointed with them.

According to the latest development roadmap the April update may include the addition of one more turn for the moderm era
