No text and "unable to allocate draw buffer"

I bought this game today, I managed to install it on Windows 7 just fine. The main menu looks good, however when I go into New Game(or Preferences for that matter) no text is visible at all. I have tried renaming LSANS.fot, but it did nothing. I could start a game using quick start and then I got an error message, saying "Unable to allocate draw buffer. Terminating program." Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

You may just need to re-install.

Thanks for the reply.
For me the text isn't mixed up, it's totally invisible. I will try reinstalling, but I have a feeling it won't help much.

Update: Well, it did help... at least until I started up the second time. When I first started the game up everything seemed to have been fine. The second time, I noticed that if I click Conquests or Civ-content the game crashes, then when I wanted to start a new game, the text became invisible again. Perhaps I should just wait until GOG releases this.

I reinstalled it again, and I decided to run it as administrator. It worked for a while, but now it's messed up again. Is there actually a way to make it work for more than a couple of days?
