No win problem.

I'm playing BTS from the Civ IV Complete disc, and at stage during the game, before the modern period starts, the game quietly moves into 'no win' mode. Everything works normally, except that I no llonger have 'retire' as an option, and from then on when I complete a victory condition of any sort (and yes i do have them properly checked off at the start) the game just carries on regardless. It shows in the Victory scren as complete ( I've done domination, diplomatic and cultural so far) but the game ignores it and carries on. More like real life i accept but i must be missing something, even if it's only the victory movie clip.
I suspect this isn't a tech glitch hut something I am doing (or not doing). Can anyone help? I'm playing on Noble level.

'Fraid not. I got my third leglendary cultural city in 1932 (marathon speed) and reached domination codnitions by the mid sixteenth century.
It is most odd. Mind you I did download sevomod many moons ago and i wondered if that had glitched it, becasue i have the same problem when using that mod.
I'v tried reinstalling CivIV complete and that doesn't do the trick.

Have you patched BTS to 3.19?

Could you post a save? Ideally one not running with a mod, one just before it happens and one after, maybe someone else could try and see if it behaves the same.
