How do you folks get the images to be full sized within the spoilers?

I use IMG tags instead of ATTACH. You can store your images at a place like photobucket.com, and it has a place you can click to generate the IMG tag and copy it to the clipboard.

Yes, once you get the hang of this you can get loads of screenshots in your posts pretty fast. Photobucket really rocks in this respect, so easy to use.

I noticed rather late that 1W of silver gave me deer and crabs for extra health; I found health to be a real limiter for me in this game. Did anyone else settle this site fairly early?

I didn't, but that sounds like a good plan. I've played a couple of games since this one, so this one's starting to get a little fuzzy, but I do remember that my city placement was not optimal in this game. Good enough to win, but not textbook stuff.
