Not All Resources Are Created Equal

They also do appear on the map, and have therefore a map-location. The location is where-ever the wonder is built that (pops/discovers) them. If you want to pillage/capture the resource, you will have to raze/capture the city, similar as if someone settled a city ontop of an iron resource.

They don't appear on the map the same way other resources do. This article is supposed to help newbies decide where to settle cities. Hit movies/records/musicals have no relevance here.

They increase the value of the terrain by a LOT! Each separate resource tile gains 50% culture boost. This is of course stackable if you decide to combine them in/on the same city/tile.

The resources don't give tiles a 50% culture boost. The wonders do. It's completely different.

Nice article titanvol. No need to include the Hits resources, or oil/coal/horses for that matter, which can affect health/happiness in certain scenarios.

If that is the case, then the title of this thread really needs to be renamed to something much more specific.

the age ol saying "whales be good" applies here.

Whales and Silver should be prioritized by the superior player.

Which is why people struggle often- they restart on optimal tundra locations.

God, TTF back....

Anyways, I think you have a great article. Add a few things here and there and you'll have a very nice strategy article. Take your time. CFC<real life, even though I forget that sometimes:p
