Not enough Oil

Seems like there is never enough oil on the generated maps. Maybe 4-5 deposits and not very much iron either????

Are you new to VEM, or is this a change from previous versions?

By design, VEM gives significantly fewer strategic resources than does vanilla.

Some unusual map scripts don't work well with the current resource placement system. It works for the main ones like continents, pangaea, small continents, archipelago, and so on. What map script do you play on? I plan on making it work better for atypical map scripts when I have time at some point in the future.
