I've been playing this game now for three days (tired now) I finally get Steam Power only to find there was no deposit of coal near. Funny there seems to be only two deposits. Each in a separate race. So neither is available to trade. So what do I do now? This blows!!!! Did I mention that the deposits are deep in enemy territory? So even if I capture them force, will only be able to hold it until there culture takes over mine. I LOVE THIS GAME, BUT THIS QUITE FRANKLY BLOWS

Coal moves around so you might get lucky and it move to your territory in the future.

If you don't have the resource, go take it.

If you control both deposits of coal, you are going to dominate the game.

Others keep telling me to don't just stop where the resource is but to keep going threw them and don't stop.

That happened to me once. It was one of my best games because I had to struggle the whole time. But then again, did I ever tell you about my Luxembourg strategy?
