Not responding

Okay, so, I have Fall from Heaven Patch j up and working fine. However, I cannot get Further Fall to work AT ALL.

Ive patched it up to Patch C as I was supposed to. but nothing. The game loads okay, but, when I start a new game, it gets to the loading new game screen and 'initializing' but it grinds to a halt there and the program stops responding.

BTS works fine on its own. Fall From Heaven works fine on its own...just this...does not.

Any ideas or suggestions?

What map were you using? The 'initializing' section is generally all used by the mapscript.

if you are using end of winter, it can take a long time... 5 - 10 times as long if its huge.

Im using the Erebus map, so it shouldnt be taking as long as it is, but, its just freezes. I have had it on loading for 15 minutes...and still nothing.

If you're using Erebus, turn off Peak Softening, and whatever the other softening function is. Both massively increase load time for the map, sadly.
