So over in https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/game-hangs-savegame-attached.636658/ a guy reported a bug with the game getting stuck between turns and when I went to take a look I happened to decide to click on all the things just to see what was still working and it seems that clicking on the minimap can (and in this case will always) stop whatever is causing the hang and return the game back to normal play. I'm wondering if anyone has ever heard of clicking the minimap as a way to get past the game hanging before? Is this already a thing or did I stumble upon something new? Any thoughts on why this even works?
