NotW XXVI: Children of Kylorin (Game Thread)

Spoiler :
Title: Village Elder (Greater Werewolf)
Player: Seon
Race: Dwarf
Strength: 3
Courage: Average
Victory Condition: Wolf

Ability: “Great Orator” You have a small chance of changing the vote of any player who hasn’t voted to match yours. Works for accusation and items

Personal Goal: Have the archmage who created you killed

Many years ago, you were subjected to a cruel experiment by an Amurite Archmage, the result of which turned you into a werewolf. He underestimated you strength though and you were able to escape his mental domination. You quickly sought out your old friend, the Priest, to join you in your affliction.

Together, the two of you returned to your old home after about a year of wandering. The reason was of course that you heard of the upcoming conference and saw in it a perfect opportunity to take revenge on your creator. This isn’t what you told him of course, because then he never would have come. He was reluctant enough as it was, and you’re not sure he believed your excuse of desiring to create chaos.

Regardless of what he thinks though, he’ll obey and that’s all that matters

@Pinman: I told you almost the entire truth :mwaha:

Title: Carpenter
Player: Niklas
Race: Human
Strength: 1
Courage: Average
Victory Condition: Innocent

Ability: “Hemophiliac Martyr” When you are killed, you’ll give a clue as to the identity of the wolves. Also, the person who killed you, assuming they did it through physical means, will have their hands stained red with blood.

Personal Goal: Either you or your apprentice must survive until the end

Item:
Unstrung Crossbow-- useless for now

You’ve been living in this town for as long as you can remember, and you remember each and every detail you can remember. You’re growing old though, and you know it. For that reason, you’ve decided to take on an apprentice.

He’s a good lad and everything, but he does have his moments of idiocy. For instance, that girl he’s going to marry, the Farmer’s Daughter. It’s plain as day multiple people in this village would be jealous of such a catch but he goes around telling people about it anyway. Now, in normal times this would be fine but now with these killers on the loose? Somebody may take to doing something about it. And where would that leave you?

It’d leave you in the dust of course. You think that if he was unfortunate enough to die now, you may have time to train another apprentice in your ways but only one. And there’s no way he’d be as good as your current one—nope, it’s for the best that the apprentice survives.

As long as he does, you reckon that your bloodline will be secure. The blood of kings flows in your veins after all. Not directly of course, but figuratively. So figuratively, you’d be passing on the bloodline. Sort of. It makes sense to you at least.

As for friends, you have few. The Brewer is a good man you know, if a little gruff, but he’s about it. Except for you lovely wife of course, the village healer. You could never imagine her doing anything like this ever after all those times she’s healed you when you cut yourself in the shop. That happens all to often for your liking especially considering your condition.

All I was good for was dying. :p

Seems Chand had a few people looking out for him.

Starting PM

I used my ability to get Renatas PM, was torn between her and Pinman - strangely Pinman was keen to have Renata's PM.

Piman was scared that you were going to use your ability on him  he must of put a lot of pressure on you to scan renata.

I was told TFA was going to scan me during the night. true?

I made that assumption when I still figured that Methos had another true prophet- so I dunno.

That was my one real failure in terms of intelligence gathering- assuming the existance of two true prophets. I guess I really thought there were two because Renataès behaviour strongly implied she wasnt working directly with Methos. As it turns out- she didnt KNOW she was working with methos.

All in all Methos really got me on that one, although his prophet was going to die anyways, through no fault of his own.

Not that I know of. I was asking for Nictel; not sure what TFA or Methos had in mind.

@ Pinman: yeah, partly through my fault and partly through TFA's own fault, it appears that both the werewolves and the rebels were going to have a go at him in the near future.

Who could scan women akin to what TFA could do? Anyone?

I belive there were no female counterpart to TFA

Was the skull item really destroyed, or just faked?

Yes, it was destroyed. I totally believed everything Pinman told me and was working well together with him even! He brought that Skull to me and told me it was an evil item and asked if I could use my ability to smash it, which I did! Totally completed my personal goal by doing so as well! :D

Title: Healer
Player: PaulusIII
Race: Dwarf
Strength: 0
Courage: Courageous
Victory Condition: Innocent

Ability: “Herbal Remedies” You may heal one player of their injuries per night

Personal Goal: Cure four people

You’re a rarity among dwarves, a healer. Ever since you were a little girl, it was said that you had magic hands because you are able to cure people of nearly any ailment. When you were seventeen, you set out from your homeland in search of adventure…

…and then promptly settled here because it quickly became apparent you weren’t cut out for the road. Once you settled down, you married the nice, non-adventurous, hemophiliac klutz carpenter. It’s obvious to everyone that he loves you very much. And you wish you could love him.

Unfortunately, you can’t bring yourself to it. Oh, sure, you’re affectionate, but your thirst for adventure never left you and that’s why you started having your nightly escapades with the tanner. He’s much more adventurous.

(Note that Runner got the affair wrong. Oyzar knew nothing of the affair, so I presume it was supposed to be someone else. The other did not show up either with a message, and Runner never replied because I sent the question after he went offline. Ah well.)

I had suspected that the Stuck in Pi bandwagon contained a few wolves more than happy to bandwagon in, but Pinman had weaseled his way out of suspicion. :p

Spoiler My Character PM :
Title: Village Whore
Player: The Forest Auro
Race: Human
Strength: 1
Courage: Average
Victory Condition: Innocent

Ability: Each night, you may take one male player into your hut for some…..questions. They must answer your question truthfully (I will answer for them). Questions must pertain to either the strength, courage, victory condition, ability, or personal goal of the player (aka: their starting PM). You get one question per night. Yes/No questions or“What is their_____” questions.

Personal Goal: Have the healer and the tanner killed.

These foolish hypocrites! Each and every one of them condemns you by day and leaves you to beg and barely get by, and then at night, they all seek you out for your company. Idiots all of them. The only reason you tolerate it is because it makes you feel good inside knowing that they’re all as filthy as you are.

Well, they’re not ALL as bad as you—some are worse. For instance, the carpenter’s wife, the healer. She is without a doubt the worst individual living in the village. By day she’ll condemn you for your sins and then by night she’ll condemn you louder….to the tanner. Oh yes, your largest critic has her own midnight escapades away from her husband.

Even you think this is wrong. Both of them should die for their sins. Except you think that it would be best to go about this without bringing up the topic of their infidelity… after all they may want you silenced.
