Krill rather than Vandal, who seems to be ignoring the game entirely. Might indicate an uncooperative innocent.

My question is, if Krill is stealing, does that not mean he is also not killing? He could be on their team, but he may not be the one who kills.

OOC: guys, sorry for not being able to talk recently, I was working 12 hour shifts and haven't been around recently because of that.

IC: YA wot guys, I go on guard duty again and when I get back you all think I've betrayed you? Didn't you remember the pistol shots the other night, when you had to stay locked in your rooms while I fought off the criminals? You know I had a pistol (just ask DE). I was on a duty that DE gave me, to steal the rope from Nictel, when I came across a shadowy figure. That was why I spent all of Night (3? OOC: the extended night) chasing shadowy figures through out the complex, that was why I didn't manage to steal the rope for DE. And last night I was again looking for the culprit (OOC: I worked 12 hours thursday night, then all day saturday. I honestly forgot to send in orders and I wasn't able to talk until I remembered to ask FiI if I could talk again until yesterday).

Yes, I stole Renatas' pistol. I did that because I needed to get a weapon. I didn't know anything about her special abilities. Does that make me a wolf? No. I have cooperated with DE, who do you think gave him the infomation about what was killing, or how the doors were destroyed? And How do you think Renatas' pistol was missing after she died? It's because I stole it before she died, I was in the room and saw everything. I wasn't the killer, and if I was also on the wolf team why would I be helping, trying to find them out?

Obviously I can't hand back an item I don't have, so killing me isn't going to get anyone those books. I suggest you look else where if you want them.

Stealing the sword pistol and books was a dumb thing for an innocent to do. It only really makes sense if Nictel Krill is not innocent or stupid, and I'm not willing to ascribe the latter to him...

Okay, so DE claims that Reference Books were stolen from him.

Krill says he is a thief, yes, but he didn't steal the reference books.

So, let's pretend he's telling the truth. Is there a second thief that can corroborate his story? If so, you might be able to prevent an innocent lynch.

Irony is that so far all I have done in this game is to try and stick my neck out for innocents who have then been lynched by DE, TLO for instance.

Consider the options: Thief is a wolf.
DE gave the books away to frame me (unlikely but possible) and to corroberate his innocence, as he is really a wolf (not something I believe tbh).
Innocent thief worries that he will be the next lynch target/has to prove his innocence. Considering how I tried to prove my innocence and then got unlucky meeting the shadowy figure it's not certain you can do that.

TBH I'm probably screwed and not much I can do about it. Not like it is going to help anyoneto see me die though.

It's easy for scummy parties to stick their necks out for innocent people, because they know who is innocent and who isn't.

So, that's not evidence for or against your innocence. But someone claiming to have stolen the books besides you, that's something I'd consider.

Well that's just it; if you're lynched and you're innocent, and no one spoke up, then we have a guilty thief out there somewhere. Because an innocent thief wouldn't let you die for their own actions.

So, it compels an innocent thief to step forward and stop your death.

Everyone. I believe Krill and I believe this is the proper course of action. I am quite sure Nictel is a villain and that we need to think and act fast now. It would certainly explain why Krill was disrupted in his work.

I hope you are not running around corners with me, Krill.

TheForestAuro, you might have forgotten, but there were two acid kills in a night prior to this one, when Backwards Logic and Renata died.

To respond as to why CCRunner and myself are here: We are here to protect this base from the threat of the Lothairians and their basilisks. The basilisks are what have been doing the night kills, and are being controlled by the Lothairians.

So we can work together here, and prevail against the combined threat, or we will fall divided.

On the other hand he could alse have disrupted Nictel's plan to attack someone, if Nictel is indeed a bad guy.

In other words; don't lynch Krill. I am not sure about Nictel at all.

Guess what, I stopped trusting you days ago. Stuff doesn't add up and I don't like it. First of all he stole the pistol from Renata, who knows perhaps she would have been able to defend herself if he didn't.

Then order him to steal the rope? If you wanted to know what it is for, you could have just asked.

I say we lynch Krill and combine his faith with that of DE. If Krill is a bad guy we lynch DE as well.

We lynch thieves that is what we do. Or do you want to wake up one morning only to find that your only defence is gone?

Nictel, you could be innocent, or you could be guilty. Anything I decide right now isn't going to change what you are though. Perhaps you would liek to say what the hell you were doing on night 3 though?

You're welcome to judge me by Krill's alignment since we are both innocent and you should know this. I am more intrigued as to your alignment (hence the vote). Initially, I trusted you, because your story sounded plausible. It still does - it's just that it also sounds plausible for you to be an Ashen based on your background.

Renata was killed in her sleep. A pistol wouldn't have helped her one ounce, I'm sorry to say. Blame couldn't help her either (OOC: Despite the fact that they shared strength) so I can't see what you're getting at. And we're not lynching thieves. We're lynching killers here. Thievery is nothing compared to the brutal killings we have seen as of late."

The 1st Private reaches down for her pistol reassuringly. "Krill could have intercepted you on your way out to kill someone that night, and I am likely to believe that is the case unless you give me another, more satisfying explanation. I am listening."

Diamondeye, think for a moment. If there were two thieves running around, wouldn't we have heard of more thefts? We only know of two and one attempt. If there were two thieves this number would have been surely higher.
You said so yourself that the books might help to identify the acid killers, in short a key item to steal. That Krill did not steal the books is obvious a blatant lie. He even tried to suggest that you gave them away on purpose to make it seem as if Krill stole them, think about this for a minute. The only way for us to check this is to lynch you!

As for the answer; I was sleeping. Krill intercepted someone else.

For a while I mistrusted Blame because he was putting votes in for people that later turned op innocent. He himself turned up innocent, making my suspicions of him unjust.
However he seemed a strange kill after all the experienced ones. So that made me wonder, is he on to something?

If a 'rookie' is the killer it would make sense for him to kill the experienced ones. So I tried to 'copy' his system next to my normal sheet. The results? Top 3 suspicions for Silent Ash are:

- Csargo
- rhawn
- Winston Hughes

I would consider not lynching Krill as we now know he is the thief and thus he can't steal anything without everyone knowing. Do return the books Krill.
Then since we can't lynch rhawn, I suggest one of the other two.

I already told you I don't have the sodding books.

The reason for the few attempts at stealing is quite simple, I didn't try to steal anything on night one (because I'm a sub and wasn't here then) and I forgot to send in orders on night 4. I stole the pistol night 2 and night 3 was the rope debacle. Also, someone could be killing on some nights and stealing on others, spying instead of stealing etc. Not like you have to steal every night.

The fact that you say it is a blatant lie is an obvious misdirection and isn't helping matters.
