I'm trying to install Civ 2 Multiplayer Gold Edition on Windows XP. When I try to run the installer, I get the following error:
"NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction" error:"
and then the address of the instruction. The program crashes.
Is there anything I can do to install Civ2 MGE on WinXP, without having to resort to things like using DosBOX etc.?
