I'd like to quietly espouse the benefits of Nuclear Weapons.

In a recent game I built the Manhattan Project, and having a large industrial base, I quickly constructed a balanced, well deployed, and big nuclear force of nearly 100 missiles (60 ICBMs, 30 Tactical Land Based, and 10 Sea Based). The Indians to the south of me, who were my nearest competition began a war with me with no warning. Trouble was, I was deeply engaged in fighting the Chinese, whose territory, which bodered mine, I planned to assimilate. As Indian forces began to marshall for the assault, I had but one option. Using 12 ICBMs, I devasted the main cities of their empire. Although this caused considerable pollution, it allowed my numerically inferior forces to conquer a few boder cities I had left untouched, as suddenly supply and re-enforcement became a huge problem for the Indians. Only two other Civs declared war on me; the Indians had been such bastards throughout the game that a few even began to like me better. 20 years later, the Indians had still not cleaned up, and were building calvary and War elephants, as I pumped out modern armour. Global warming increased, but mildly, and I was able to go about my business unhampered.

hmmm... interesting. I have never used the nukes yet. I have never even seen them used. But I guess it's a good idea to have a few up your sleeve just in case. I just hate to see grassland turn into desert.... :nuke:

I like to nuke all those transport ships filled with Japanese troops.
the sideeffect is my good friend next door decided to declare war on my and i had been giving this Rome guy tech and citys. :nuke:

Since I had 50 ++ M tanks and 20 ++ S bombers. 100+ M Infantries, i decide both Japan and Rome should not stay on Earth any further.:p
