A few questions on it. I just gained the ability to build ICBMs, and built one then launched it on my own tanks in Zulu territory (Nuclear test, honestly). Now everyone declares war on me, except China, who become gracious afetr I convince them to declare war against everyone else.

Now, everyone is launching every single one of their ICBMs at me, for one nuclear test! I got bored and quit, as I had saved before I dropped the nuke. The devastation was fun, all the silly attacks on my infrastructure wasn't. I tried getting everyone to declare war on one guy so I wouldn't get the rep. hit against everyone, but that didn't seem to work well. Maybe I should declare war with the Zulu then try to drag everyone else into it? Just so I can nuke everything without any real damage to my rep.

There's about 154 cities or so on the map, excluding mine. I want to nuke all of them. Is there any way to build ICBMs quicker? Or should I just continue what I was doing, and try to take a rubber resource from Germany so he can stop extoritng me for it to build my modern armor?

Just take the rubber.. and i wouldn't use ICBM's until you have the strategic defense small wonder. That way when you do decide to use them, it will shoot down a percentage of the one's shot at you.

That or try to plant spies in Babylon (only country I have no spy in) to find his ICBMs. I'm thinking of going for the rubber myself, then either after taking England taking out Germany or just nuke Germany to dust.

you can build icbm's much faster if you mobilize your economy for war. And as he said he above, definitely get the sdi wonder before using them. Then when you are the only one who has it, use the nukes.

Buying them would be much more efficient. As when you mobilize you lose the ability to build infrastructure. Always a necessity in newly conquered cities :D

The problem with buying them is there are about 150 cities on the map that he wants to nuke, and each ICBM costs (i think) 400 shields. Each shield costs 4 gold, so thats 1600 gold x 150 which equals 240,000 gold. Even if you are making 2000 gpt, it will take you a loong time to save that kind of gold.

Question: What is the point of nuking all 150 enemy cities? Nuking the few biggest of each civ's should be enough to make their militaries dysfunctional, and cause enough global warming to make any environmentalist cry.

Dunno. But they are much deadlier weapons than in Civ II, considering onc something's desetr, it's desert. So a few good nukes can effectively destroy the 22 tiles of a metropolis, reducing it to a bunch of starving, unproductive people even after the pollution is cleared.

Also, I'm a little apprehensive about conquering a dust ball. But, how many nukes would it take to cause a lot of global warming on a large scale? And will it reduce my enemies to riflemen as well so I'm on an even playing field or will they still have their massive amounts of mech. infanrty?

You don't even need nukes to cause global warming on a large scale, just don't clean up your pollution :)

And Klasanov, those quotes you have, I started that thread! hehe

I think tactical nuke is more cheaper than ICBM, maybe you should built it in your border city, or if you have nuclear submarine, you can carry tacnuke on nukesub, and launch it to your enemy's city.
