Uhh... when have Ghosts ever been immune to Psychic in the games? Once upon a time Ghost could not hit Psychic, but the reverse was not true.

Those things are a bother to catch even when they're red-lined and asleep. I captured three legendaries today in FireRed Omega, and only one (Zapdos) came peacefully.

As he disembarked in front of us, it became clear we weren't getting past without a fight.

It was Kaz. He looked pretty messed up, and was sobbing uncontrollably.
