Recently, my Nvidia Firewall has taken a dislike to CFC - as long a the firewall is on, all attempt to access either the forums or the main CFC site time out. It's most confusing because I've had the same firewall for years and the problem has materialized only now. It's also started to block certain parts of Yahoo's pages.

Anyone's got any ideas what I could do or look at?

Are you referring to activearmour?

Honestly, your best bet is to simply disable it, it has had crippling bugs ever since release.

QFT; although you may be able to give your web browser exception status from your firewall.

thanks for the suggestions. :)
Are you referring to activearmour?
I guess so. It calls itself "NVIDIA Firewall" everywhere in the config screens etc, but when you turn it off there's a notice about "ActiveArmor" being turned off.

Crippling bugs or not, it's odd it's only giving me grief recently, after closer to three years. Firefox is allowed web access under "applications" - is there anywhere else you can specify an exception?

Guess I'll be looking at this Zone Alarm thingies ...
