ok, I'm just getting into the 'new' version (yes, i know its been out for a couple years now).
I'm playing the current game on chieftain. this is like the second time through and both times, about 1900 or there abouts, all the other leaders go stupid on me. I mean by this that I've been friends with them since I met them very early in the game, when they beg stuff from me, I give it to them. we are "Friends" and have trade agreements, mutual defense agreements, research agreements, pretty much as close as you can get. then all of a sudden, everyone starts denouncing me, for no discernible reason. I mouse over why someone feels the way they do about me, and I see "Was denounced by your friend" is the only red, everything else is green.
What's the reason for such idiotic behavior by the AI?
