This is kinda intresting..
Would you go?

This caught my attention:

Mr Barker plans to track down the cannibals and offer them tobacco and beads.

Like in the good old days.. ;)

A Devon man is looking for a partner to join him in living with cannibal tribes in Papua New Guinea.

Reg Barker's wife Genni refused to join him and their two daughters Agatha, five, and Tallulah, two.

The 42-year-old hospital nurse found one partner, but he pulled out at the last minute.

His replacement will need around £2,000 to share the cost of a chartered plane to fly to Yaniruma, in the lowlands of West Papua, says The Sun.

Mr Barker plans to track down the cannibals and offer them tobacco and beads. In return he hopes they will let him and his new pal stay in their tree houses.

"I'm sure they'll be welcoming. These people live like they did in the Stone Age. When they eat people, it's more like a vendetta between tribes - like rival football teams."

He's braver than I am. I'd keep wondering if they were trying to decide how to cut me up every time they glanced my way. :shudder:

They eat their dead, last thing I knew... And apparently (reference to a previous article), they can't chew through boots ;)

he has a point, cannibalism is usually tied with religious/social rituals or something like winning the strength of your enemy when you eat him, so I don't think he is in greater danger than living in the wilderness usually provides. OTOH I don't get why he leaves his family alone and Tobacco? he thinks he helps them? aah, white mans burden ;)

No need to say that twice ;)
