offensive bonuses???

One funny thing (although probably too small in scale to use in Civ, as is the whole up/downhill thing in my opinion): as most people kind of instinctively feel that the higher ground is superior and it has formed some sort of a paradigm over the centuries of warfare, all the guys standing downhill will know that the guys standing uphill also know about this paradigm, and hence the downhill guys' morale will be considerably lowered, adding another example of the fact, that this paradigm is true :)

BTW, as long as the scale of Civ doesn't change, and I sincerely hope it won't, the "morale" and "fatigue" factors are included in the health stat of a unit, and most terrain features of a battle are included in the terrain defense bonus, IMHO.

well i think the whole morale hill thing is covered in the defensive values of a hill, no? :confused:
